Strawberries on Wooden Table

Toad in The Hole

Here is a great way to use your Isabel’s Gluten Free Yorkshire Pudding Mix! These mini toad in the holes are light and fluffy and a sure favourite around a children’s dinner table.

Ingredients

Isabel’s Yorkshire Pudding Mix

2 eggs

320ml Rice Milk

Gluten Free Sausages

Coconut Oil

Toad in The Hole

Instructions

  1. In a mixing bowl, add the eggs to Isabel’s Yorkshire Pudding Mix and beat until the mixture is smooth.
  2. Slowly add the rice milk, whisk until smooth and set aside.
  3. Cook your gluten free sausages in a hot oven and, once cooked, chop into smaller chunks.
  4. Add a knob of coconut oil to the yorkshire pudding tray and place in the hot oven to let the oil melt and heat. This is the key to big puddings!
  5. Once the tray is piping hot, carefully place a sausage in each hole and pour the mixture around. Do this quickly so that you don’t lose too much heat!
  6. Place back in the oven and bake for 20-25 minutes on the highest heat. Try not to peek, as losing heat will lead to floppy puddings!
  7. Serve with green vegetables, and gluten free gravy.

Nutritional Information

Gluten free gravy is available in most supermarkets, although Isabel has a fantastic new product which we will be putting in our box soon. If you prefer to make your own gravy, use corn flour to thicken as this is naturally gluten free.

In our humble opinion, these go superbly well with a good serving of broccoli, cabbage and peas.

We would love to see your finished and fluffy puds on your dinner table so please feel free to upload your pictures to our Facebook page and we can forward them on to Isabel herself!
